In January 2013, I sold my first few Blessing Beads® to Huff Harrington in Atlanta. I remember feeling shocked that such a beautiful shop would want to sell something I made. 10+ years and 1000's of Blessing Beads® later, I still feel grateful when customers purchase my handmade product. In 2013, I had a one year old daughter Ruthie and made Blessings Beads out of my home. Now Ruthie is 11, and she has a 9 year old brother and 5 year old sister. My life and heart are FULL.
Over the next several months, I will slowly wind down the wholesale leg of The Sercy Studio. Creating Blessing Beads® on a large scale requires a level of commitment and time that I no longer have available. I have confidence that this decision is right for me and my family, but it hasn’t been easy. Most of my adult life has been spent building this brand, working with my hands to create Blessing Beads, and connecting with YOU my customers.
August 2023 will be the last month for wholesale orders. In the meantime, we will take orders for Holiday 2023 to ship this summer or in the fall. Starting in September, the next chapter of my work life begins! I will continue selling Blessing Beads® directly to consumers through the online shop. In addition, I am excited to ramp up my creative consulting business Tutu + Ruth. I LOVE walking with new and seasoned business owners to encourage, support and share everything I have learned through the years.
This is the end of an era for me! I always dreamed of having a creative business and because of you, The Sercy Studio fulfilled that dream. The Sercy Studio will always be a part of my story.
